December brings us icy temperatures and powdery snow. I'm glad I made myself an x-large scarf.

PS. It's harder than it looks!
New Project

Paper Bowl
Lately craft blogs seem to be overflowing with tutorials to make these paper bowls, so I decided to give it a go. It didn't really turn out as planned, but that's probably because I got bored half way through. The only thing I did differently than the tutorials is this, I took another strip, flipped it over in the opposite direction and glued it on top of the last one. I think it makes it look a little neater (only a little).
Organic Wool Dying
Yesterday I found the time to dye my own wool. I had read this great tutorial over at Pea Soup and I just had to try it. I love the fact that it's done with food coloring so it ain't toxic. I was a little short on dye, but I think it looks pretty damn good for a first try. Here are some pictures.
Now all I need to do is felt it and sew a zipper in it. I can't wait to see the result.
Welcome
Hi,
my name is Freia and I live in Belgium. A couple months ago I started knitting and after my first project was finished, I picked up crocheting. I don’t really know how it evolved from there, but now I’m into all kinds of crafts. Mostly I have more inspiration than time, so I’ll try to organise some things here. I’d love to post some tutorials and giveaways too, but for now I’ll just take it easy.
And don’t hesitate to contact me with anything. Suggestions, questions, links to your craft place,… You can reach me at mutsyah(at)gmail(dot)com or just in the comments section.
Enjoy!
